     My father, Pietro Giorgetti, was an aviation engineer (motor mechanic). He participated in three notable Air Tours in 1929-1930.
     He was born on January 9th, 1902 in Milan, Italy. In his youth he started working as a mechanic.
     He was called up on January 23rd, 1922 in the Army Aviation. On September 20th, 1922 he was transferred to Mellaha - Tripoli (Lybia), in the 89th Squadron S.V.A (Savoja, Verduzio, Ansaldo) - Aviation of Tripolitania. Best Regards

(The transfer of wounded men from Aziza).
     The garrison of Aziza was remained isolated and surrouded by Arabian people, who didn't accept the Italian invasion. Five three-engined aircrafts and some single-engine planes S.V.A. supplied the garrison by victuals and soldiers for about two months.
