     WILLIAM C. JENKINS, 157 Daniel Low Terrace, St. George, Staten Island, N. Y., in the summer of 1916 a member of the First Aero Company, Signal Corps, New York National Guard, commanded by Capt. R. C. Bolling when it was mustered into federal service. Capt. W. G. Kilner and other pilots gave him flight training at Mineol and he soloed the first week of October of that year.
