SILVER CIGARETTE CASE
     A very rare item belonging to Emil Meinecke, WW-1 fighter ace and long time Chief Test Pilot for Anthony Fokker. The item is a solid silver cigarette case with engraved words of appreciation given to him by his Squadron Leader Theo Croneiss in regards to his six victorious air battles in WW-1.
     Also engraved are the signatures of Aviation Greats Charles Lindbergh, Jimmy Doolittle and Australian Air Pioneer Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and his Co-pilot Charles Ulm. Twenty-one lapel pins of Fokker airplanes as well as pins from present and past Airlines, Aircraft manufacturers and Companies are attached to the outside of the case.
     Recently acquired by the Luftfahrtmuseum, Laatzen, (Museum), in Hannover, Germany, (September, 2002)
