PACKARD BUYS SPECIALLY BUILT BELLANCA PACEMAKER

In the Spring of 1931, Packard bought a Bellanca specially made with extra large wings, large control surfaces, no shock absorbers, low pressure tires and no finishing inside the cabin.
At the Bellanca plant, before taking delivery, we found that the instruments in the instrument board were second hand and scattered all over the board. We made them put in new ones, arranging the flight instruments to be in front of the right pilot.
