Here's the Benoist tractor and there's the Robert's engine, ha. ha.
The six cylinder Roberts, a two cycle or..
It's two cycle, it could have been the engine I had, I don't know.
Is this the one Walter went on the lake with?
Yeah, that's right. Benoist tractor type airplane, that's it.
And this is the same one?
That's the same one. It gives you a good view of the six cylinder Roberts.
It's right in front of you?
75 horsepower, right in front.
Oil and castor oil and everything spewed out at you?
Well, we didn't use castor oil in that engine, just regular oil..
Where did you get the gasoline?
We just used ordinary gasoline.
What if they only had one car in town or something?
Well, they had to get gasoline for it somehow.
What else did they use gasoline for in those days?
For machinery, farm machinery, tractors, etc.
