CURTISS AVIATOR FALLS TO DEATH
Daily Journal and Tribune

"Elmira, N. Y., Sept 22. - "Dare Devil" Castellane, a Curtiss aviator, fell to instant death at the Mansfield, Pa., fair today. He had started in an exhibition flight and when three quarters of a mile from the grounds his machine careene, turned turtle and fell on a hillside. Castellane was found buried beneath the wreckage of his engine and plane. His wife witnessed the fall."
