     CHARLES EARL HESS, famous airship "peelot," was mechanic with Lincoln Beachey in 1906, made exhibition airship flights for Roy Knabenshue 1907-08 and was with Ruth Law and her airplane in Daytona Beach, Florida, during the winters of 1912-13 and 1913-14.
