1913 -- Glen Martin on Muskegon Lake, Michigan Glen Martin would have loved the port at Tillicum Village, but it was a far cry from Muskegon seventy-three years ago when he breezed in to the Muskegon Lake. Today these shores are overrun with habitation and there are little -- if any -- flying planes coming in.      Here he is having a tough time getting in to dock -- no eager hands on shore reaching out to greet him. He did secure the plane and thus establish his place in aviation history. From the Early Bird's CHIRP, March 1987, Number 88
