HARRY PARK
Harry Park, 86, passed away in Los Angeles in September, 1955. An early pioneer, he had resided in California for many years , and unfortunately he lost the sight of his eyes a few years ago.
Harry was born in Baltimore, Md., and was educated at the old Curtiss Aviation School on North iIsland in 1912. He had soloed the previous year in East St. Louis as the result or self-training. He was later a test pilot for the reconstructed Sparling-built Curtiss-type biplane, and had considerable other flying experience. He was also a journeyman printer.
