  Thomas E. Steptoe, 76, of Inglewood, California, passed away this past winter, but full details have not been received. Born in Nevada, he learned to fly at Mineola, Long Island in August, 1912. Following that he flew extensively at county and state fairs from 1913 to 1916. During World War I he was with the Aviation Section of the Signal Corps. He was an employee of the U.S. Post Office, Civil Service Commission, from which he retired in 1944, and lived at Inglewood, California during the latter years of his life.
