ANDREW M. SURINI, SR.
Andrew M. Surini, Sr. of West Hempstead, L.I., N. Y., passed away at Elmhurst General Hospital, New York, April 27, 1958 of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on April 16. At the time of his death he was senior mechanic and relief inspector for American Airlines at La Guardia Airport. He was on the way to work when the accident occurred. Many fellow Early Birds paid their last respects at the funeral home.
Andy was well known to EB's and his enthusiasm will be missed at our meetings. Born in 1894 at Mt. Carmel, Pa., he learned to fly in 1914 and had been associated with the aviation industry ever since. He had been with American Airlines for the past 15 years.
