BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
via email from Carlo Boik, 4-6-07 & 4-18-07
Dear Mr. Cooper,
I am searching for information on the Italian pilot, Fernando Sanità di Colledimacine di Toppi, who was born in 1884 in Chieti. He was an officer in the Italian Army, (Bersaglieri), and a pilot during the first years of the 1900's (Aviano).
My grandfather was born in Chieti on Dec. 2nd 1886, and died in Venice on Oct. 31st 1939. He entered in the Militar Academy of Modena, was already lieutenant in 1913, then captain in 1916, and major in 1919 (year not certain).
I have just begun searching information of his life. I'll send you more material if I'll find it.
Best Regards
Carlo Boik
