IDENTIFICATION

Mr. Cooper,
     I may have some information about this picture. I am pretty sure the plane is Glenn Curtiss’ Golden Flier or his Rheims Racer. Glenn Curtiss first flew his June Bug in 1908 but that looked very different. The Golden Flier and its derivative the Rheims Racer did not come until 1909. Curtiss stayed with the front double canard that can be seen in the picture in the lower right until after this 1910 Hudson Flier. I put this picture in 1909.
