BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
from Jeffery A. Watts, 10-23-08
Edwin M. Post Jr. was the son of Edwin Main Post Sr. and Emily Post the famous writer who was the etiquette authority in the second quarter of this century. Although I do not know his date of death, he was co-author along with his mother of a cookbook, The Emily Post Cook Book (1949; with Edwin M. Post, Jr.). Her maiden name was Price which would account for her being referred to as Price Post in the old Times article.
