Collection of Rick Bjorklund October 12, 2003 I was reading the page you have on Edson Gallaudet and the letter from his grandson Tom Gallaudet. I was wondering if you might have Tom's email address or any contact information? I see he mentions that not many pilots would fly the Gallaudet D-1, but my grandfather Filip Bjorklund did- he was a test pilot for Gallaudet. In addition to flying the D-1 he also was in instructor in the C-1 and C-2. I have a very interesting article written by Robert A Gordon entitled "The Gallaudet D-1 and the Gallaudet Drive Aircraft" that I think would be very informative to Tom if he hasn't seen it. It has several references to my grandfather in the article as well as one of his photographs of the D-1. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
