LOOK WHO'S HERE! CHIRP, JUNE, 1937 Los Angeles, California - Number 20      BERT SAUNDERS, 1420 Great Highway, San Francisco, California, owner of a repair shoop at this address, was soloed in July, 1914, in a Curtiss pusher by H. P Christofferson.

 

Born in 1876, Bert Saunders learned to fly a Curtiss-type pusher owned by the Christofferson brothers. This was in 1914 and H. P. Christofferson was his instructor.
