I recently found this little 3 x 5 photo in Walter's collection. It only bears the cryptic identification, "Last Flight, June 11, 1944." Even with magnification of the original photo, I can't identify the pilot. Considering his general appearance, and the other items in the background, I don't believe it is Walter. More likely, it is one of his "Early Bird" friends who sent the picture to him for old time's sake. It seems quite probable that it is Walter Bullock. He was a good friend of Walter and owned and flew several classic airplanes. Anyway, I think it is a neat picture and worth a second look. Maybe some of my visitors will recognize the scene and let us know who it is.
